Can boots be altered to become steel toed?

I'm going to need some uploads system of steel-tip for a job that comes up, I have some rugged uploads the system but not the steel-tip. To avoid the expense of buying mating uploads of entire new system, I thought that maybe I could go to a factory repair ski close to my house. A place that could add enough protection to my uploads system?

I suppose they probably could be but it would probably cost you 80 bucks. It is better to just go and buy a pair of steel toes.. That way they will fit properly.

they can be, but it would probably be less money and time to buy a pair of steel toes

The boss insurance company may be fickle about it as well sure theyre now steel toed but they werent safety tested also work its safer to get pair of govnt certified safety boots.

I was going to say, it would probably be cheaper just to buy a pair already made that way.
