Is it ok to match a tweed coat with a tweed hat?

IÂ've bought a tweed coat of DELL'ANNATA with coatings of the faux fur and a hat of tweed that also matches the coat. It is right to bring them together or look too viscous? I have 40 years.

    Your doubts are right! Tacky. A hat would look good.. Just not a matching one. Try a solid color in a neutral tone.

    i wouldnt say it would look tacky, but maybe just too much going on.
    try to make one part of your outfit the focal point; if there is more than one focal point with a tweed blazer and hat, one could get overwhelmed.

    the coat sounds so awesome though!
